How do I create my personal style with jewelry?

First suggestion: experiment
What you have to do is try to wear clothing and pieces of jewelry until they will match in someway. You will never know how does a necklace look like over your clothing until you wear it.

Second suggestion: be unique
Don't be a mindless sheep both in life or in fashion style. So, be inspired by celebrities, magazines, designers, models but remember you do not need to be them, above all because you are yourself. Interpretation is important so try to match different pieces of jewelry or wear the same one in different ways with different clothing.

Third suggestion: take your time
If you want to experiment different combinations to find your own style you need time. Do not do it 5 minutes before your appointment, take your time the night before and in the morning wear it! The more time you have, the better it is because you can also combine in a better way the shapes of your body and face with clothing and jewelry.

The next article will be on the color rules you have to keep in mind such as: black and navy blue do not match!

I also suggest you to integrate these information with the previous article about Fashion jewelry and the deep meanings of them: a sort of glossary of colors which explain what does each one mean with an interesting part with the 2012 fashion jewelry guidelines.

The Italian primary of Jewelry exhibitions

Which part of the World is the most productive in the field of jewelry? Asia, the land of precious gemstones? Africa, the land of gold? No, it's Europe, the land of brilliant artisans, creative artists and engineers. Europe has had an historical evolution and also today is a magnificent continent. In the jewelery market there are some countries whit a strong cultural heritage connected to jewelry. One of these is Italy.

Italy is the country where there are every year more than 15 jewelry fairs which represents more than 15% of the European fairs during one year. It's interesting also to know that there are more or less 130 international fairs in the all the World in one year. That's because Italy has a big role in the international scene of jewelery businesses.

In Italy only three cities are involved: Naples, Vicenza and Milan. Naples is the less under pressure of jewellery's international pressure with its VEBO Fair: the exhibition of internal/external design, gift and jewelry design. Milan is the Italian city of fashion, so it could be impossible not to host some jewelry fairs! There are two Cash and Carry Exhibitions of Custome Jewelry in semiprecious and precious stones and silver handicrafts, two International home shows (MACEF) in the field of fashion design, interior/esterior design, jewelry design, and other two international exhibitions: Bijoux and Chibidue.

The most famous and fashion trends creator of jewelry is Vicenza, the city of gold, with eight exhibitions per year! Vicenza is located in Veneto Region, in the northern part of Italy and there are the most important international exhibitions, such as: the Choice, the T-Gold, 5 versions of VicenzaOro and the Jewelry Expo “About J”. All these events are dedicated only to jewelry and attract hundreds of people from all over the world! Vicenza has always been one of the most incredible city for jewelry handmade craftsmanships. The next fair is going to be held in Vicenza, the 19-23 May 2012 in Vicenza, the VicenzaOro's fair of jewelry.

Fashion jewelry and the deep meanings

The historical development of jewelry trends has always been part of our life, such as the natural evolutions of a human phenomenon. Jewelry have been for ages part of different cultures and living styles in every part of the world (maybe not in northern areas, I think it was too cold in the past).

Nowadays the development of that fashion trend is still having deep meanings, sometimes there are charm jewels, birthstone pendants or rings and so on. In the other hand there is the meaning of every gemstone, and people place great emphasis on metaphysics values of jewels.

Jewellery 2012 trends are divided in many different styles, materials and making techniques.
Fashion gemstones which have been chosen to be part of fashion trends this year are:
Amber (an ancient yellow/achre gemstone, it can be use every day because it is not so precious and it's perfect for solar and romp people),
Sapphire (precious blue gem, often the sister gem of white diamonds),
Rubies (light and dark red),
Emerald (it's the real green protagonist of this year: a lot of important people have choosen emerald jewels this year);
Jasper (multi color quartz gemstone, it's an impure stone, you can use its jewels everyday),
Jade (the Asian green gem),
Torquoise (light blue gem, perfect during spring and summer time, absolutely not indicated in winter).

All these gemstone are necessary because one of the fashion theme of 2012 is inspired by floral elements, so it is fundamental the use of so many colors. There are also two strong fashion trends: the green emerald and the blue sapphire trend in a contemporary/classic style. Some of these stones are also used to create retro/revival jewels and also bohemian creations. Silver and white gold are used to create the techno/industrial pieces of jewelry.

One of the most interesting face of 2012 trends is the renewed interest for handmade jewelry, the original tradition of artisans and craftsmen. Handmade jewels are the most precious one, are unique and particular, that's because it's part of jewellery trends also the added value and the profound meanings of jewels.
